Introduction
This collection of stories represents the best of my short works published from 2001 to 2008. All science fiction, these tales span the genre from near-future space exploration to the far futures of radical nanotechnology and human biological modification. At the heart of each story is a human dilemma: an ethical choice created by a technological society changing faster than the characters are prepared for. They are stories of real people, grappling with questions of right and wrong when the world they know collides with a world they're unprepared for, and they must decide how to change. I hope you enjoy them.
