Sarah L. Edwards suspects that she is the first science fiction or fantasy writer ever to hail from Rathdrum, Idaho. Although she graduated with a degree in mathematics, she has a secret fear that she might love words more than numbers. On the other hand, she thinks a world where the quadratic formula was a spell for opening doors would be pretty funny. She was a winner for the Writers of the Future Contest, and she has also sold fiction to Interzone, Jim Baen's Universe, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and other fine markets.
